Research question
Does a prior result alter the next selection only when it carries specific, relevant pressure rather than vague or irrelevant history?
Prior hypothesis
Specific consequence feedback would change the next selection, while no feedback or vague feedback would leave it unchanged.
Method
The committed two-pass recurrence harness compared the original selection with a second pass carrying a specific consequence, a second pass with vague feedback, and the original-state baseline. Pressure-disabled and selection-ignored paths remained available as ablations.
Observations
- Specific unsupported-answer feedback changed accuracy pressure and selected a source-backed revision.
- The carried specific result changed the second-pass selection relative to the original-state baseline.
- Vague feedback did not change the second-pass selection.
- Pressure change without selection change did not count as durable recurrence.
Supporting evidence
- The targeted changed-pressure test passed.
