A confident output can pass through a workflow even when its evidence, authority, uncertainty, or scope is insufficient.

A bounded gate can combine deterministic checks with clearly labeled model judgments while preserving human authority.

Claim packets were separated into evidence, authority, independence, wording, uncertainty, omission, scope, and contradiction checks.
What was built
Governed claim-review surfaces that distinguish deterministic conditions from interpretive review and evidence from authority.
What was demonstrated
- Some declared support conditions can be checked deterministically.
- Review state and authority can be represented separately.
- The surface can preserve uncertainty instead of forcing approval.
What was not demonstrated
ProofGate is not a general proof of correctness. A passing gate does not establish truth beyond the rules and evidence tested.
Failures or limitations
Deterministic rules can be incomplete. Model judgments can share assumptions with the material under review. Independent evidence must come from an independent source, not another fluent answer.
