While fully autonomous, humanoid robots that rival all aspects of human dexterity and intelligence may be a little longer away, the improvements projected over the next ten to fifteen years will normalize the concept of robots living alongside people.
As familiarity rises and the economic barriers to ownership decrease, these mechanical assistants will evolve from futuristic curiosities into standard fixtures, ultimately reshaping the routines of millions of households worldwide.
