AI Publishing and Creative Production

Status · Active research

Central question

Can one person use human–LLM collaboration to develop and publish complex creative work while retaining creative authority?

Why the question matters

Publishing joins writing, performance, sound, editing, production decisions, and release. The research asks which parts of that chain can be accelerated without confusing automated execution with authorship or judgment.

How the investigation began

The investigation began in practical production: podcasts, voice experiments, and the repeated need to preserve decisions while moving from a script to finished media.

Human–LLM collaboration method

Human questions and creative decisions define the work. Language models help develop structure, implementation, and alternatives. Bounded production tests, preserved state, listening, and human approval determine what advances.

Projects and experiments

  • Show Director
  • AI-Assisted Podcast Production

Verified accomplishments

  • A provider-neutral production chain has been demonstrated in Show Director.
  • A decision-engine fixture proved that explicit human acceptance can change dependent production state without erasing history.
  • AI-assisted podcast production has produced public episodes through a human-selected and reviewed workflow.

What has not been demonstrated

These results do not demonstrate automated artistic direction, reliable perceptual quality, autonomous editorial judgment, or the replacement of human producers.

Failures, ambiguity, and competing explanations

Fixture audio proves state behavior, not performance quality. Provider output still requires listening and approval. Earlier production workflows also depended on manual corrections and assembly.

Selected articles

Selected podcasts

These episodes show continuity in the questions; they do not validate the software experiments.

Current position

Execution can be made more structured and repeatable. Intention, casting, interpretation, acceptance, and final judgment remain human responsibilities.

Open questions

  • How should creative disagreement be preserved without blocking production?
  • Which performance differences can be tested automatically, and which require listening?
